Casey Veggies was supposed to have the album out by now. Earlier this summer, the Inglewood rapper announced that Live & Grow would be dropping August 7; though he hasn't hit that date, the release hasn't been pushed too far. Fans can now look forward to the LP next month, on September 25. To tide everyone over, he's let loose with a new single, the Sap-produced "Anybody." Though he may not yet be a household name, Veggies has the patience and poise to broaden his audience. He spoke to XXL about what it means to be respected: “It’s one thing to say you’re underrated but I try not to pay attention to that because it is what it is. The game overlooks some of the great sometimes so sometimes its what the game is going forward. You have to let the game do what it does. The thing for me, when it comes to my city and my coast, I think I get a lot of respect. Underrated is definitely a true thing. I feel like that’s definitely evident and a lot of people feel that way. But at the same time I’m happy with all the respect I’ve gotten."
