Public Enemy is back.

They drop the new video for their new single titled "Man Plans God Laughs." The track is the first record the New York rap collective released off their latest album of the same name. The visual for "Man Plans God Laughs" is somewhat of a coming-of-age story for a young Black man growing up on the streets. The visual follows the young one as he walks around his neighborhood with an angry look on his face. He tries to remain a kid by playing in the park, but he's quickly put to the test when approached by a bully. Now angry and a little older, the boy picks up a gun and begins wearing a gang affiliated bandana. Somewhere along the lines, the youth realizes he's following the wrong path and presumably chooses the right one as he grows up and fathers a baby girl. Throughout the short video, P.E. raps about making the wrong decisions and bringing about change, spitting "fight the power for the kids" over Massive Attack-produced beat. "Man laughs at God's plan. God laughs at man's trash. Man plans, God laughs," says Public Enemy in the opening lines of their new track, "Man Plans God Laughs." Check out the moving  "Man Plan God Laughs" video above.

Man Plans God Laughs is Public Enemy's fifteenth studio album. The 8-track LP is a follow up to the group's 2012 record, The Evil Empire of Everything, and will be available worldwide on July 27 via RCS Music. Stream Man Plans God Laughs below.
