K Camp is focused. The Atlanta-bred 2015 XXL Freshman uses his new video, "Something Outa Nothing," to paint the picture of young men struggling to get through by any means necessary, where peril lurks in Chrysler Le Barons and behind every blind corner. The closing song on this year's breakthrough mixtape, One Way, "Something Outa Nothing" is a determined, uplifting cut, meant to give purpose to the struggles K Camp himself endured as he tried to launch his career. Of the new video, he says, "The song is about my life, the life of a slum. Slum to us means coming from nothing but taking your struggle and turning it into your motivation. You have to know that at your lowest the Only Way Is Up." The last phrase, of course, is the name of his forthcoming debut album, due out this year on Interscope.
