Ty Dolla $ign, long a fixture in the music industry as a songwriter and in-demand guest artist, is finally prepping the release of his solo debut album. Though that record, Free TC--the title a tribute to his incarcerated brother--didn't meet its announced June 2 release date, it's expected soon, and Ty rolls on with more infectious, star-studded singles. His latest, "Blase," sports turns from Rae Sremmurd, Mike WiLL Made It's wunderkinds, and Future. It's Mr. Hendrix who kicks off the track; DJ Spinz' beat is sparse and intoxicating, and Future casts an appropriately woozy direction for the song. As always, Ty is a more-than-capable vocalist, having contributed to hit after hit over the last half-decade in particular. Complete with the young "No Flex Zone" brothers, "Blase" is sure to be the summer's go-to song for the hour and a half you can't quite remember from the club last night.
