BJ The Chicago kid is revered in nearly all corners of hip-hop as one of the genre's most reliable hook men. His work with major artists, including those in the TDE camp, has built him a nearly impeachable resume. But his solo work is just as engrossing--and as the singer is believed to be crafting a follow-up to last fall's The M.A.F.E. Project, it appears he's teamed up with 2015 XXL Freshman OG Maco. Their first song together, "That Girl," is a glossy, summery cut, perfect for mid-range seafood chains and mostly-clean beaches. Maco recently announced that he's signed to Capitol and Motown and that his debut album, Children Of The Rage, will be out by the end of the year. His most recent video (for "15," the closing song from his last mixtape), is a heartfelt ode to his fallen brother. BJ was last spotted lending his vocals to Slum Village on their new single.
