The long, strange odyssey that is Lil Wayne's trip through the 2015 music industry marches on. Today (June 3), the Louisiana legend dropped a new song, "Glory," exclusively on Tidal. (Subscribers can listen here; those without accounts can listen to a 30-second preview.) According to Forbes Lil Wayne has joined Tidal and is a new co-owner.

Though Tidal boss Jay Z has said since the service's re-launch that artists don't need the support of major labels to be on the service, "Glory" is still tagged as a Cash Money Records release. Perhaps Carter V is coming after all--or maybe this is just a peak into label purgatory. The song did come with the news that Wayne is planning a concert exclusively for Tidal X. Check back with XXL for more details on Wayne and Cash Money and for the full version of the song when it's released to the public. The latter half has some flashes of vintage Weezy: "Went from flying cockroaches to flying without credentials (that’s private)/Tell the pilot, 'Be quiet, we need our privacy'/Throw you off this bitch if you wired, justifiably."
