Have you ever cried in the trap? Take a deep breath and think about it. From the sound of it, Key! has definitely shed a few tears while bagging up work. The 2015 XXL Freshmen hopeful, and one of the bubbling artists coming from the south, goes hard over the Flash-produced instrumental and gives listeners a new school trap anthem. Clearly influenced by the likes of Gucci Mane, Key! uses a similar flow to Guwop and with his slurred speech and southern drawl, Key! slides perfectly into the trap sound. Key! has been making his bones as a solo artist after disassociating himself with rising ATL collective Two-9 and while he drops songs sparingly, the rapper has his fans patiently awaiting a solo effort. Check out "Cried In The Trap" above and be on the lookout for more from Key! soon.
