French Montana drops his track, "Lose It" (previously titled “Gucci Mane”), featuring Rick Ross and Lil Wayne.

French Montana brings in some hip-hop heavyweights to assist with the bars, while Kanye West and The Mekanics handle the production. Although the song was recorded a while ago, "Lose It" oozes swag, with each of the rapper smoothly dropping their popular ad-libs, not to mention a few gangster verses. Weezy means all business once he comes in, starting his bars off with the infamous street line, "Get down or lay down."

"Get down or lay down/Shoot everything up but a school or a playground/Run shit like a greyhound/I'm in here now who let the devil in, I ain't been taking my medicine/My trigger finger ain't never been hesitant/I am your ruler, no measurement," raps Lil Wayne

The track's hook is a play on Gucci Mane's Twitter rant back in 2013. "I think I’m ’bout to lose it, mane /Said I’m ’bout to go Gucci Mane,” raps Rozay on the hook. "We based it on when Gucci went crazy at that one time, just like went bad on everybody,” French told Rap-Up TV. "The record’s like when you’re about to lose it—Ross on the hook, me and Wayne. It’s a crazy record. We gon’ blow their socks off."
