Lil Wayne has been in the headlines as much for what's going on outside of the music realm as inside it, but he's gotten back on his grind lately with a series of videos and guest verses and performances over the past few weeks. And today it seems like he's back on his boss grind. Weezy introduces his latest addition to the Young Money roster, new signee Fat Leopard, with his new song "Vegas."

The song takes a repeating triplet and a laid back drum beat from Drumma Boy as its base, with Fat Leopard crooning in and out of Auto-Tune on both his verse and the song's the slow, purposeful hook. Wayne plays hype man for the first half of the track, backing up Leopard with ad libs and vocal doubles before he takes over with a vintage verse from the Young Money chief. The lyrics recount one of those stories that can only come from Sin City; Fat Leopard's chorus is an ode to the craziness of Vegas nights and the confusion of Vegas mornings that inevitably follow, while Weezy's verse is a story of a wild time with a Vegas girl complete with millions of dollars, insane parties and a shotgun wedding in a cheap local chapel. In all it adds up to one of those songs to blast at five in the morning when you're trying to make sense of where you are and what you've done. Vegas, baby.

As for Young Money's newest artist, not much is known about Fat Leopard. But he becomes Wayne's second Young Money signing of 2015 after Tunechi inked a deal with singer Stephanie Acevedo back in January. Check out the premiere of the track above and keep an eye out for more from Fat Leopard in the weeks and months to come.
