Rising Windy City MC Lucki Eck$' drug-influenced, chopped not slopped style is a far cry from drill artists like Chief Keef and alt-rap artists like Chance the Rapper. Eck$ proves once again that Chicago is producing arguably the most versatile acts in rap right now and "What I Wanna" shows the young rapper's growth as he flows effortlessly over the Boathouse produced beat. After dropping a verse, Lucki switches to a chopped and screwed style and raps about his drug use. With lines like "Let my parents tell you I'ma 18-year-old goner," Eck$ is honest and open about his habits that hopefully won't hamper his promising career. Peep "What I Wanna" above and his standout project Body High.
