Mick Jenkins is one of hip-hop's rising stars. The Chicago native, who dropped the critically-acclaimed The Water[s] last summer, has been steadily building his buzz with tours and solid loosies and looks primed to explode onto the scene by the end of the year. "Alchemy," produced by Lee Bannon, is a hard-hitting, bass heavy joint that features Jenkins at his lyrical best. Jenkins strength is in his flow and cadence. Riding the beat perfectly, the young rapper annunciates every word as if its his last and understands the effect of how his words will resonate with listeners based on where they are placed. Bannon's production fits perfectly with Jenkins' gruff voice and hopefully this won't be the last time we hear the two collab. Check out "Alchemy" above.
