Listen to Dave East, “No Coachella For Me”

Dave East didn't make it to Coachella this year; he was too busy trapping Uptown to pay the bills. East spits hard bars about breaking down kilos of cocaine over an Automatik Beatz instrumental that has a heavy LOX influence. The rising New York artist is gaining stream on the underground and is a quintessential East Coast MC with a gritty delivery and flow to match his drug talk and street tales. Though he didn't make it to Cali for the festival, East did hold down New York with a packed out show at SOBs on Sunday.

The Mass Appeal Records signee is working on new material for a currently untitled mixtape, in the meantime check out "No Coachella" for me and his Straight Outta Harlem project with producer/MC/DJ Scram Jones.
