Last month, Da Mafia 6ix dropped their first album with their new, leaner lineup. Watch What U Wish doesn't sound like a rehash of Mystic Stylez; instead, the record showcases DJ Paul and company realizing an update on their tried-and-true sound in an era where Memphis-born flows have become one of the go-to tools for rappers from all regions. "No Good Deed," a Watch What U Wish cut that features Memphis mainstay La Chat, has received the video treatment, which takes place in hazy clubs in front of too-piercing lighting rigs--exactly the environment in which Three 6 first became a necessary part of Southern hip-hop culture.
