LA rapper Azad Right is hopeful and triumphant in his latest single, "If I Die." The Middle Eastern MC and former feature on The Break rhymes about the hurdles he's faced so far in pursuit of rap supremacy. With a feature from fellow California artist Harry Hudson, Right touches on everything from opening up for high-profile acts to meeting with rap legend Nas on the piano and symbol heavy beat.

Unlike many of his up and coming hip-hop peers, Right doesn't boast about his success thus far. Instead, he stakes his claim as a leader and plans his triumphant trajectory in music.

"Tell Nas he should've signed me/ I don't hold it against you, I blame the timing"

"If I Die" is Right's latest release after his 2014 EP, fittingly titled For The Hopeful. Before this, Right dropped the IAMNOBODI-produced “When You Know” and had the opportunity to spread his sound most recently at Austin's SXSW Festival. "If I Die" is set to be the upcoming single off his unnamed 2015 EP. Listen to Right's uplifting offering above.
