Lil Wayne drops the video for his version of O.T. Genasis' "CoCo." The track is off of his mixtape Sorry 4 The Wait 2. In the video, fans see Wayne rapping in a cage plus clips of him in his music videos from the past. Sprinkle in a couple of explosions, a beautiful vixen plus a cup full of syrup and that's pretty much the video. "CoCo" was the song that Weezy's DJ messed up during the YMCMB's head honcho performance at Florida’s Nova Southeastern University. Weezy got seven songs into his set before he was ready to drop his update of the song. However, instead of playing a clean instrumental, the DJ played the original, complete with Genasis’ vocals. An obviously frustrated Wayne tossed the microphone and stormed off stage. He did not return. They later made up.

Weezy issued a 21-page, $51 million lawsuit to Birdman and Cash Money and aired out his differences on his former mentor on  Sorry 4 The Wait 2 plus the Young Money cypher. Lil Wayne also announced that holding “Release Partiez,” a series of parties held in appreciation of fans who downloaded his Sorry 4 The Wait 2 mixtape. Check out the dates below.
