Your Old Droog follows up a strong end to 2014 by kicking off 2015 with a brand-new EP of rock-themed songs. Inspired by comedian Sam Kinison and bands like Rage Against the Machine, Droog intertwines '90s pop culture references into his rhymes and celebrates his love of coffee on numerous occasions. With production from DJ Skizz, El RTNC and Marco Polo, Droog takes another step towards establishing himself as one of hip-hop's top wordsmiths.

"It's not like something we planned," Droog told Rolling Stone. "I was mentioning a lot of people from the rock world in my rhymes. It was like, 'Yo, I think I gotta tie this thing around, 'cause it's happening too much….Porno for Pyros...it's like a dope way of saying your shit is fire. It's kind of like useless trivia, so I'm making use of it. I just got memory for useless shit. I remember Meredith Brooks; I don't know why."

On Kinison, the Coney Island native raps an ode to Rage Against the Machine, calls for the gentrification of his hood so he can get a better coffee shop down the street finds a place for "Get The Paper" which premiered on XXL in January.
For fans hoping to catch Your Old Droog live, he is currently on tour with DJ Premier and Royce Da 5'9 as a support act on the PRhyme tour. The 26-date tour kicks off later this month and concludes at SXSW in March.
