Mick Jenkins “Time”

Time is money and Mick Jenkins doesn't have enough of either for the bullshit. The Chicago spitter, fresh off a packed NYC show at SOBs with Kirk Knight, drops off "Time," a joint off the upcoming FDC and 119 Productions hosted compilation Chicago Sights 'N Sounds. Over OnGaud production, Jenkins' mixes his laid back drawl with catchy hook, a little bit of Chicago lingo and impressive lyricism. On tour riding the success of his critically-acclaimed mixtape The Water[s], a loosie like "Time" only gets fans of Mick more anticipated for another full length project. Check it out above.

Jenkins is another young MC on the impressive Cinematic Music Group roster and The Water[s] included appearances from Cinematic members and affiliates like Statik Selektah, Joey Bada$$, Chuck Strangers, and Kirk Knight. Released in August 2014, the project landed on many "Best Of" year end lists.
