Boaz takes us to school in his new track, "Message 2 My Trappers."

The Pittsburgh rapper tells young drug dealers they're "doing it all wrong," as he delivers his message over Fabolous' "Cinnamon Apple" instrumentals. He reflects on a time when people worked for something, saying "that's when n***as was hustling for a purpose/you just looking the part, they hustling on the surface." The Rostrum Records signee feels like everyone wants to live the gangster life just for the hell of it. Meanwhile, they perpetuate the same thing onto their "gangster kids." Boaz even hints at recent situations, rapping "they was dancing like Bobby Shmurda til he copped a case."

"Message 2 My Trappers," is a good example of Boaz's lyricism. His whitty word choice is also reflective on his debut Intuition, which dropped last fall. A couple of stars make guest appearances on the album, including former labelmate Mac Miller on "Don't Know." New York rappers Jadakiss and Styles P also hop on the album for "Rootin' 4 The Villain".
