Jennifer Hudson is drawing more from old school sounds for her upcoming album JHUD. A quick listen through her last couple of singles reveals that she fits into the style well. But for her latest song, she invites someone whose biggest single is noted for its catchy electronic minimalism. That would be Iggy Azalea on "He Ain't Goin' Nowhere."

Stylistic differences aren't that big of a deal here; that bass' funk influence is there, but it's nuanced. Iggy verse is short and supportive, which is pretty much all she can do with Hudson's powerful singing.

JHUD is scheduled to hit retail on Sept. 23.
