The tragic death of Michael Brown like that Trayvon Martin has caused a huge uproar in the hip-hop community. Rappers such as J. Cole, Nelly and T.I. as well as others have already put forth efforts to help out the family of Brown as well as the city of Ferguson that has been troubled by murder of this black teen at the hands of a police officer.

Since his controversial comments at the beginning of the week about the incident, B.o.B has stepped forward to speak out on the Mike Brown shooting in the track “New Black.”

At the end of the self produced track the “Drunk AF” rapper urges his community to bring forth social justice. “All this energy that we’re putting into protesting, we should put it into our community, put it into starting businesses, put it into your kids,” he said.
