Jay Z And Jay Electronica Remix Soulja Boy’s “We Made It”

Jay Electronica is slowly remerging into the limelight again. Out of nowhere, the Roc Nation signee decides to release his remix to Soulja Boy’s year-end anthem “We Made It” featuring Hova this morning. There’s really not much else to say about this one—they both body the beat with their boastful raps and incredible lyricism. As you can probably guess, Jay Elec is building hype for Act II: Patents Of Nobility (The Turn) expected to release this year.

Hear the remix above and expect a video for the track (according to Soulja Boy) coming out soon.

UPDATE: Well, it looks like Jay is responding to Drake’s comments in a recent Rolling Stone interview in his freestyle. If you recall, he says, “It’s like Hov can’t drop bars these days without at least four art references! I would love to collect at some point, but I think the whole rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny.” Jay’s answer: “Sorry Mr. Drizzy for so much art talk / Silly me, rapping about shit that I really bought / While these rappers rap about guns, they ain’t shot / And a bunch of other silly shit they ain’t got.” Squashed for good?
