Listen To Eminem’s New Track “Rap God”

November 5 seems like it’s a long time from now, but Eminem is keeping us on our toes with another single from The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

Half an hour ago, Em teased fans on Facebook that he’ll drop his new song “Rap God,” offering five clues about how it would sound. However, the song leaked in Europe just moments before its official release.

With a number of rappers referring to themselves as higher beings, Em makes sure there’s no dispute that he is a rap god. Over blaring sirens and hard piano keys, the Detroit MC switches through a variety of flows, showcasing his versatility. We also hear classic Em in his best shape with name-checks to the industry’s best and poking fun at his opponents. It’s a reminder that Em is still the illest.

Listen to the track below and look for the album that features Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, Skylar Grey and Nate Ruess of fun.

We don’t care if you’re white, this song is probably the best song of 2013, top 3 at least, and you’re retarded for thinking it’s not that good.

In lyrical skills I gotta place Em right next to KRS.

“Why be a king when you can be a God” if that didn’t shoot down the whole Control debate I don’t know what did. This dude and K-Dot gonna force a lot of rappers to rewrite they rhymes. Saying Versace twenty times on a song aint gonna cut it. Hip Hop been back, now its time to take it to another level. I don’t see too many dudes coming at Eminem like they did Kendrick Lamar. We know Rakim is always gonna hold the title of God MC followed by Hova, but after hearin this, somebody might have to make room. Damn skin color, if you got skills you got skills.

what jay-z you been listenin to? his shit been lame since the black album

      • LeroyLove2001

Bruh you could make the same case for Rakim. Once you reach a certain plateau in Hip Hop, its a wrap. See Andree 3000. Jay Z last album was better than most of the rappers half his age. Plus dude done transformed from being a mere rapper, the mans a mother f… icon, most of the rappers you listen too can’t buy that.
