The L.O.X. “Hood Cake (“Pound Cake” Freestyle)”

The LOX “Bitches from Eastwick” Money Power & Respect (1998)

The L.O.X. return grabbing Drake and Jigga’s “Pound Cake” beat and serving up hard bars over the dreamy Boi 1da instrumental. This might be a sign of things to come from the coveted Yonkers outfit. During the summer, Sheek, Jadakiss and Styles P reunited for a show at B.B. Kings in NYC and released the track, “Summer’s Too Hot.” They were even reportedly in talks with MMG at one point. Hopefully, that means we are getting closer to the reunion album We Are The Streets 2 which would be the trio’s first LP since 2000. Check out “Hood Cake,” below.

cake, cake, cake , cake lol ..LOX will forever have it as a collective. I don’t even look at them as solo artist. Kiss has always been my favorite and the most lyrical to me but Styles P got those grimy, thug, street, mafioso raps I love so much. I used to think Sheek was the weak-link back in the day but if you go back to those early LOX days from features and those 2 group albums dude had bars equivalent to Jada. I only don’t fu*k with Sheek solo career but as far as the group goes he’s apart of a legendary collective.
