J. Cole Releases New Track, “Cole Summer”

J. Cole remerges with “Cole Summer,” a soulful sample-driven track that tells his story up to this point in his career. From chronicling his mixtape highlights to learning from Jay-Z, the song’s lyrical content has a lot to digest. He even speaks of scrambling to finish his album, though it seems that worked out in his favor. This follows up his excellent video to his Miguel-featuring single “Power Trip,” which currently sits at No. 21 on the Billboard Hot 100. His sophomore effort, Born Sinner, is out on June 25.
