The-Dream, “Tron”

The-Dream will forever be a legend of the r&b game off the strength of his Love trilogy, which spawned hits like "I Luv Your Girl," "Falsetto," and "Rockin' that Shit." Dream and producing partner Tricky Stewart are also the masterminds behind pop mega-hits like Bieber's "Baby," Beyonce's "Single Ladies," and Rihanna's "Umbrella." He's a genius songwriter, but where The-Dream's creativity really shines is in his solo work, and his new single from the upcoming IV Play is no exception. On "Tron," he raps (suprisingly well) over a trap beat and makes the bold claim, "Fuck I look like hating on r&b ni**as? I am r&b, ni**a!" Listen below.
