A few weeks ago, XXL ran a feature story on Texas-by-way-of-Toronto rapper/singer Tory Lanez, who was gearing up to release his new mixtape Conflicts Of My Soul. Unfortunately, Lanez had to push the tape back from its initial release date of August 8, but that was only because he had a bit of a surprise in store for his fans—he was teaming up with the legendary DJ Drama, who will be presenting the new tape.

With Conflicts set to hit the net on Monday (August 26), we reached out to Drama to ask him about getting involved with the project and why he believes in Tory's success. "I only involve myself with tapes I believe in. This is different. This is a squad I'm rocking with, and that's something I don't say," Drama admitted. "Tory is a special talent and I'm excited for the world to hear this music. The game has been waiting for a new star, Lanez is that guy. Conflicts Of My Soul is just the beginning you'll be hearing from me and Tory together."

Now, in anticipation of the tape, Tory shot us an exclusive premiere of a new track from the tape called "Driver," which features Roscoe Dash and is produced by The Mekanics. Listen to it below, and check back with us on Monday to download Tory's tape.
