Earlier this month, Montreal producer Kaytranada dropped his debut album 99.9% with features from Anderson .Paak, Vic Mensa, Phonte and GoldLink and comes through today (May 10) with a visual for "Lite Spots," track 13 off the disc. The video is the second off the album, following "Glowed Up," which dropped early last month.

In the video, which was directed by Martin C. Pariseau, Kaytra creates an animate robot and teaches it various dance moves and other of life's simpler pleasures, like sitting at the beach or playing basketball in the sun. The two end up sharing a meal together, with Kaytranada's new mechanical friend learning not to be afraid of moves and characters it doesn't recognize.

Kaytranada has made quite the name for himself within the production world, with Vince Staples and Pusha T rapping over his beats within the past few weeks alone. While "Lite Spots" is a predominantly an instrumental track, the visual puts Kaytra front and center and offers a creative piece of story telling in the process.

99.9% is out now, available to download via iTunes, with vinyl purchases available at XL Recordings. Peep the video for "Lite Spots" up top.

Kaytranada is currently on tour in Europe, set to play Reims, France tonight. He will return to the States on 24 with a show in San Diego and bounce around continents in the month that follows. Check his full list of dates to see if the producer is stopping nearby.
