Two-9's profile was elevated when the crew signed to Mike WiLL Made-It's Ear Drummer Records imprint. Earlier this year, Williams and the rest of Two-9 made their way up to the XXL office to discuss their B4FRVR mixtape. During the sitdown, Williams was asked about they got linked with Mike WiLL and how he has impacted the group's career.

"B. Wright, our manager, knew Mike and introduced us," said Williams. "Mike was just like a fan of us and we are fans of him. And Mike was like, 'Wassup with your boys?' And at the same time we were like, 'What’s up with some beats?' And B Wright was like, 'He working on this tape right now, working on a song.' Me and Jace did a song with him and then after that we did some more songs and we started hanging out and becoming homies."

Williams has been steadly building his buzz and his last project, Danco James boasted an impress roster of guest features including Wiz Khalifa, Project Pat and production from Metro Boomin and Sonny Digital.
