BISD is a good album F**ck radio man, this is 50 is 50’s own machine…who sits around listening to the radio? people go on youtube, google shit etc…50 is an international star, ross isn’t…theres no comparison between the two.

While I don’t agree with Rword on the current quality of Fif’s music, I do think that he won’t do well in BISD sales. mainly because his most popular song with Ne-yo is misleading in what’s to be expected in the album. The reason why Jay is still on the charts is because every single represented what was expected in the album. if people liked it, then they’ll love the album. But if that’s the only song on the album they like then they’ll perceive the album to be trash regardless of how good the other songs are. It’s just that they felt cheated by the single.

I see what a lot of folks are aing about radio spins and I agree. It doesn’t dictate quality, but popularity and an awareness of the product. Jay’s singles are still getting heavy spins. And he has a lot of songs that have the potential to get spins. So curious consumers won’t get disapointed on the album if they purchase it. 50 is getting spins on a song that doesn’t represent the album. So whether people will buy it, like it, and spread the word of it being good is in question. I understand what Will.i.am said about The End. Music now is based solely on singles. People would rather download the artist’s single rather than buy the album in order to avoid a trash album. If you make an album packs full of singles, people aren’t going to download 12 tracks. BSID might be OBCL2 quality but sadly nobody buys quality just singles.
