my questions exactly here are my thoughts:

I will say that Jay-Z’s lyrics and song structure is 90% better than what’s out right now. But he is like Outkast and you can only grade him against him since he has made his own lane in the game( he is that good). I think this album sounds like the blueprint part 2 (the double album or a mixtape). A bunch of good songs that don’t all fit together and no smash hit with the ability to bridge the gap between the street and the board room.

The game has a lot of great production infact his producers deserve an award but he comes across kinda week and boring and that song doctor advocate to Dre is some serious (weezy F baby action). But he will sell some units off hype, Kanye still managed to get one of the best songs on the album and that new producer he had on a few of those songs was off the chain

Dig a hole is my favorite track were he adresses all these chumps trying to run with him when they got a quarter of his career under their belts if their lucky. over a hard big slow drum beat and the swizz beats dig a hole course is old school, finally an album with out embarrasing choruses.
Minority report is about katrina and has some new, and true comments about an old situation, but the song is a bit of a dre downer beat, smart lyrics but the instrumental is a sedative.
Beach chair is a tune, i thought chris martin would make it wack but it actually turns out it will probably be a too many spins january track that i actually like. Basically jay taking life inventory over a slow chumpy chimey beat.
All around, any one who isn’t feeling this is either a teenager or hasn’t given it the chance to grow on them.

I’ve never liked Jay-Z flow. I listened to Kingdom Come and thought it was a 2 star album no standout tracks for me won’t be buying it.
In Australia you could buy Doctor’s Advocate last weekend (11th nov) copped it and it is the album of the year props to Game no dre no 50 just a hot album on par with the Documentary.
Just heard Snoop Dogg’s Blue Carpet Treatment and will definately buying that next week it’s the best shit he’s put out in years.Also Fat Joe’s new album is worth a listen as well not for everyone listen to it before you buy it but it’s growing on me.

You create a sonically dense comeback album that stretches the boundaries of what mainstream hip hop can sound like, and what thanks do you get? Hatred from an unappreciative public where people seriously compare you unfavorably to JIM JONES (a weed carrier) & THE GAME (a guy who didn’t write his debut album) and Gin Blossoms fans are telling you what hip hop music should sound like.

“Lost Ones” is the best rap song of 2006. Rarely do artists reveal such brutal honesty concerning their lives. Its a welcome change of pace considering that hip hop is filled with middle class poseurs who did 48 hours in juve for selling dime bags, but now they’re hardened “thugs” who have stacks of bricks in the trunk of their car.

Kingdom Come is one of the three best hip hop albums of the year, along with Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor and Hell Hath No Fury. Is it a classic Jay-Z album? Far from it. Its a middle of the road LP from Jay as far as quality, but “sucks balls” is the analysis of someone who simply has no idea what good rap music sounds like.

P.S. If Jim Jones created this exact same album, people would be prepared to call him the greatest MC of all time. Put things in perspective, PLEASE!

I listened to it twice today, and I’ll say it again: The ONLY reason this album is a disappointment is because people held it up to standards it wasn’t realistically gonna meet. It’s just good. Even if it was “very good”, it woulda fallen short. It was just destined from the get-go to never reach the heights people built it up to.

I’ve listened to The Game’s Doctor’s Advocate.

He mentions Dre a million times on almost every song. His flow on the new album is quite good but it lacks the great lyrical content that is expected of a rapper who is supposed to show growth. I saw The Game’s album in the store today and thought of buying it another time. Right now is Jay & Nas’ time… no it’s Def Jam’s time to be heard.

It looks like Jay is doing what was once done in 1998 but, on a greater scale. Do you remember DMX, JAY-Z, METHOD MAN & REDMAN dropping album at the same time? Yep! Thats whats up!

I got a very good downloaded copy and I have already placed my order for the original at HMV in Epsom, Surrey, United Kingdom

I usually make good choices musically. I’ve known this since NWA-EFIL 4 ZAGGIN (Spell that backwards ofcourse).

Listen to a track called “30 SOMETHING” produced by Dr. Dre. That is one of my favourites. I see the remix featuring Snoop and the video being shot on the West Coast with cameo’s by unexpected guests like The Game, 50 Cent, Mack 10, Too Short, Scott Storch, Russel Simmons… a shot of Nas and Jay riding in a bouncy Chevrolet Impala with Dre and D.O.C. in the back while Jay-Z drives…. you know? Like a traditional Dr. Dre video eg. “Still Dre” or “Nothin But a G-Thang.” This song definitely needs some chromed out 64 Impala’s. Dre has produced four tracks on the album:
30 SOMETHING, MINORITY REPORT, LOST ONE & The one where he talkin bout, I try to tell ‘em I’m different but in the end we’re all the same.” Jay-Z addresses last years rumour about him having a baby with FREE formerly of B.E.T.’S 106 & Park. Remember where you heard it first. The album is another classic. It reminds me of when I first heard “Hard Knock Life-Vol 2.” I played the album over and over and I know the lyrics start to finish.

Kingdom Come is definitely much better than The Black Album.

For years people have complained about Jayz not saying anything of substance in his verses,but now he is about to release an album that is actually of substance and boil, I meant bol, says the album sucks balls. I have listened to the whole cd and while I think a couple of the songs–hollywood and trouble– should have been left off, overall the cd is very, very good. This will be seen for the classic that it is a few years from now– when Jayz really retires.

I will be copping Kingdom come when it comes out on next week!

I bet you only listen to the songs that make it as singles on your CD collection rather than listening to the others. granted KC is not the black album or reasonable doubt by any means, it is certainly a masterpiece though. next time. just keep your opinions to your damn self! we all know what opinions are like. which I see you are very likley one of those as well.
