Starting next month, 50 Cent will be taking his directorial debut, Before I Self Destruct, on the road to 10 major cities across the U.S. [Watch the trailer below].
The G-Unit general’s first stop will be in Boston on Monday (November 2). The film will then travel to Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., New York City, Atlanta, Chicago, San Fransisco, Los Angeles, and Houston. The last stop will be on November 13 in Dallas.
Fans can scoop up their free tickets on movietickets.com.
The movie—which is just one of the two DVDs to be packaged with his new CD of the same name—is about a kid (played by 50) growing up in the ghetto with dreams of making it to the NBA. After his mother is found murdered, the young baller takes matters into his own hands, with plans of revenge.
The other DVD to be included with the disc is a documentary on his slain mentor, Run-DMC’s DJ Jam Master Jay, titled 2 Turntables and a Mic: The Life and Death of Jam Master Jay. Fif’s fourth solo album, Before I Self Destruct, is set for release on November 23. Fans can preorder the album with an additional three bonus cuts on iTunes now. —Max G

This is the real reason I’m coppin’ BISD. 2 DVDs for $15 is a steal.
Artists take notes. Give the people something besides JUST MUSIC. Anyone can do music now.
I’d rather sell a $15 T-shirt & package a free CD with it…

Cool Steph says:
50 it’s over because I’m really feeling that new Mr. Finley track “Sin City.” I’m not even from Vegas, but if I was this would be blasting through my radio 24/7.

seperating himself from the others. He’s got the money to back all these projects which he can record as expenses anyway so he knows he will get the extra sales from bundleing all three items into his album.

This Album Is Average to Below Average. I Think Fifty Is Placing These Comments In Blogs. It Is Easy And Completely Possible. With That Said, If Fifty Buys 150,000-200,000 Copies of The Album, The First Week Sales Will Be Around 500,000. I Got Money On That
