Miami tastemaker DJ Khaled is hard at work on his upcoming album, which he says will include a few surprises.
According to MTV News, Khaled says his album will feature the usual Florida regulars like Rick Ross and Plies, along with two artists he’s never worked with before- Drake and Usher.
“I worked with someone I never worked with before that I always wanted to work with,” Khalid told MTV. “I won’t tell you if it’s one of my singles or one of the singles, ‘cause I like that to be a surprise. But I did work with someone I always wanted to work with; his name is Usher. I did work with him, and I’m excited by that. I worked with someone [else] I never worked with before; his name is Drake. I’m a fan of his music. I think he’s talented.”
The album, his fourth, is titled Victory and is scheduled for release in 2010. -Brooklyne Gipson

Naw, people get down on Khalid for what ever reasons. (Homo love of 50 Cent, Hate of the south, bringing Rick Ross into the world) etc
But for the most part, dude delivers solid albums if you’re a fan of that region and type of music. Ace Hood was trash, but from the early Beat Novikane shit (are they one in the same?), back with Joe, to his albums, work with the Runners and a few bangers (So Hood, the Danja track and the Florida posse cuts), I cant hate on the dude much. I hate the “we the best” refrain, but I don’t think he deserves all of the hate he gets.

Wow, so many producers not yet known as well as DJ Salad that deserve his place, and are not as annoying or undeserved. Even Timbaland, and Jazzy Pha aren’t as annoying as Salad. Salad just gets the flavor of the month honors because the kids don’t know much else…
