Brooklyn representatives Talib Kweli and DJ Premier will be headlining “A Labor Day Weekend Explosion” next month in BK and upstart media company lumeefly.com will be streaming the live concert on their website.

The show is set for Saturday, September 5 at Sputnick nightclub and fans that will not be able to make it can catch it in HD quality online for $10 on the site. Once logged in, viewers can post real-time comments that are displayed as thought bubbles and can even consume virtual drinks.

“The emotion, memory and nostalgia of attending a concert leaves a lasting impression on the minds and hearts of music fans for life,” LumeeFly Inc. CEO, Tommy Johnson said in a press release. “The LumeeFly media player allows viewers around the globe to interact with each other as avatars and that helps us with conveying the emotion and experience of physically attending a concert. We’re excited to be working with the Event promoters, Black Jewel Enterprises & Sputnik and to be able to help artists gain access and exposure to a global audience.”
