am i the only one that thinks this is a good move by cory. nick going help him get his name out there get him a bigger fan base. even get lil homie a show he will be getting fame on and beyond the mic.

I went to the McDonalds All-American game out here a couple years back, and I damn near died laughin’ when they introduced Mr. Mariah as the halftime show entertainment. A whole row of 13 year old girls jumped up screamin’ when he came out haha. The funny thing is one of my homeboys went to the same high school as Nick, and the high school is associated perticularly with one of the biggest gangs in the city because of the neighborhood it’s in. For instance back in the days, if someone told you they went to that school, it was almost automatic that they would get hit up on some “oh so you claim that set over there huh?” haha. With certain neighborhoods in South Cali that’s how it is, certain schools are associated with certain gangs from at least Jr. High up just because half the youngsters in that neighborhood’s school district grow up in that set. As far as his rap career and ties to giving back in the community, Nick’s a disgrace.

Couple of Red Flags:

1.) First of all, getting a reality show before being famous as a rapper, is going to make you famous for being on a reality show, which means your rapping won’t be taken serious.

2.) Nick Cannon is a mediocre rapper at best, who hasn’t seen any success in the rap game. If you’re going to let someone else oversee your debut album it better be someone who’s shipped platinum or atleast gold.

I think it’s a good move by Gunz!! First of all homie gotta do something, his buzz is dying down slowly but surely.

Secondly, Nick Cannon is one of the most under rated yet successful Entertainment Mogul in the game. He’s a Ghost Executive Producer for almost half of the shit you fucks watch on MTV and not to mention a couple of movies!! True his music might be weak but his business superceeds all that….

i see that some made the comparison between nick producing corey’s album and Q-tip producing mobb deep’s album, but the latter did make sense.
