Known for his eclectic taste in the arts Kanye West is set to break into the film world with a movie based on the work of Italian artist Vanessa Beecroft.
Ye and Beecroft previously worked together for Kanye’s rather unique 808s and Heartbreak listening party which involved 40 nude women with face mask and illuminating fluorescent light.
Now according to the Villiage Voice, Ye will be producing the filming for Beecroft’s performance art show in New York this week. Recognized for her controversial exhibits of nude women in strange settings, Beecroft’s free show will be taking place tonight (March 6) at Deitch Projects in Long Island City at 7 p.m. – Evanka Williamson

nigga, i would produce a film about gay sex if it brought in the stacks. producers have nothing to do with the creative process… at least not since the ’50s. they just hire personnel and oversee financial concerns.
