West Coast rapper Xzibit has taken to his MySpace page to set the record straight, literally. After many media outlets speculated that he openly questioned Diddy’s sexuality during a recent radio interview on Jamie Foxx’s Foxxhole radio show on Sirius, X says he was taken out of context.
During the radio appearance X said that Puff took him and former video vixen Karrine “Superhead” Steffans to a gay-friendly nightclub in Miami, after the mogul warned him about Steffans’ devious reputation. “He’s like ‘That’s the devil man,’” X recalled Diddy saying about the model-turned-author. “I was like ‘What you mean she’s the devil?’ Then he’s like ‘She’ll videotape you with fingers in the booty.’”
On his MySpace blog today (Feb. 23), the former “Pimp My Ride” host explained that his comments were misunderstood and that he has no ill feelings towards the hip-hop mogul. “Wow, so I wake up this morning and my phone is going nuts,” he wrote. “I turn on the computer and find all this shit about me ‘throwing Puffy under the gay bus’ whatever that means. All this SPIN that you journalist[s] are putting on the statements I made on a radio show to DIRECTLY effect a guy in a manor not intended is wrong.”’
“I got a call yesterday (which caught me off guard) from Diddy himself stating the club was an after hours spot called “space” I believe,” he added. “The rumor mill that has ground this bullshit out to be the shit storm that it is, is doing so on its own accord. Like I said at the top, I have no beef with Diddy. BUT WAIT… a bigger problem I see is the negative stance these hip hop sites and blog sites are taking when speaking of gay people in general. All I can say to that is: PEOPLE GROW UP! I do NOT like to spread hate and make it a point not to do so, so this is not the way I intended this interview to unfold.”
In related news Xzibit will be starring in the remake of 1992’s cult classic Bad Lieutenant alongside Val Kilmer and Eva Mendes. According to IMDB, the movie is currently in post-production and will be released sometime later this year. – Elan Mancini

“Gay-friendly” is not the same as “Gay bar”. That implies the club will not throw you out if you’re a homosexual (there are some clubs that treat patrons that way, based on a variety of reasons).
This would be the entire problem. Niggaz need to get their facts straight before commenting on somebody else’s sexuality. I find it funny too, everybody’s worried about who’s gay and who’s not. Makes me question some of ya’ll’s sexuality. If you’re confident enough if yourself, why do you need to make it a point to question what somebody else does behind closed doors? What do you care?

Xzibit covered all his bases when he told the story; made it clear he was with a lady (even if said “lady” was Karrine Steffans), stated it was a misunderstanding (blamed it on Puff), & said as soon as he realized, he broke out (didn’t say peace to nobody). It would appear it was just a silly ass story.
Where he got it twisted was by attempting to retract statements, & blame his reenactment on a media spin. Unless he was trying to get back in the spotlight on purpose, he should’ve just kept his business to himself.
Writing checks your behind can’t cash is never a good look on grown people.
It’s sounds more like he’s mad that Puff is possibly upset. Sean Comb’s should be used to being the ass end of industry jokes (pun intended).
& apparently, the story’s old, so who cares?
