I’m a big Saigon fan,but he’s starting to sound like Dr.dre,because every year since 2004 he says his album is coming soon. I understand that atlantic didn’t treat him right but they have a history of dropping the ball at times when it’s comes to hip hop so why did he think an emcee who has no type of gimmicks would get real shine with that lable ? then almost a year ago he said he left so why not release his shit independentley and make more money. Street niggas are the one’s who know about him and his music touches so he should release it and sell 85-200,000 and get 3-6 dollars a cd.

Saigon keeps saying the same thing year after year after year. At this point I really could care less if Saigon will ever drop an album because this is just becoming a running joke at this point. One thing I pray for in the ‘09 is that rappers will stop talking about imaginary “movements” and how that are going to change hip hop because it’s becoming a cliche. Rappers who really do change Hip Hop just do it they don’t talk about it. They do it for the love of making good music and not to have a bunch of Jock Riders kiss they ass.

I was thinking the same thing, like when and if his album drops, it might be like “who cares”. Unless he starts trying to sound like the shit that’s popular now, or unless he goes indie and stays true to the music he wants to make and is able to create a steady fanbase, his luck and time has run out.
