Alot of people are thinkin too small scale for this. There are so many angles to the madness. Many people dont think about the engineer (the dj dont make the album he breaks the album). The Suits in the skyscrapers (They run this whole scene, one thing i know is i havent heard of too many rock acts having leaks). Wayne himself (with marketing ideas drying up, beefs are old; why not leak your first 16 tracks then record 5 more tracks that arent on the leaked version to stir the masses again). There are so many other directions to go in. Im not a Wayne fan but its a decent album. It versatile, not just all about swagger splashin. There is a bit of experimentation that i can respect (i.e Phone Home).

Can anyone explain to me how someone can even consider that wayne is the best alive? I could name 50 rappers right now that are better. He may have a couple of catchy songs and a few slick metaphors but he will never be taken seriously in my mind. If you think wayne is that hot you are clearly ignorant. Pick up a Wu-tang cd or a nas cd and you will quickly realize hes not even close to their level in any way shape or form.

this is my biggest problem with wayne: he makes great mixtapes but not so great albums. mixtapes, he can do what he is best at; just saying hot stuff that rhymes. on albums, his lack of overall direction shows. actually, let me rescind that statement. his label should have done a better job selecting songs. but if he really expects to be a label head, he has to become more involved.
