I think Saigon is over-rated, and suffers from boring repetitious Just Blaze beats.
Everyone knows that Just Blaze is clearly past his best.
Just Blaze’s problem is that he is not musically adept and does not know how to compose original songs, therefore once he runs out of soul songs to sample, his music drys up and sounds forced.
Saigon would have a much better chance of selling if he got some harder hitting producers, like Collipark, Nitti, Polow, Lil Jon, Three Six (Juicy J and Dj Paul)- real producers who don’t sample.
Get rid of the washed up Just Blaze.

Entourage might give Saigon a nice boost in marketing and sales. He’s supposed to be on the next season which coincidentally airs right around when his album is dropping. Actually, that’s probably not a coincidence at all. Anyway, the T.I.’s might be more interested in promoting a dude who is on a successful TV show. We’ll see. I’ll be interested in hearing his album, though. I liked a lot of his mixtape shit, and he seems like a intelligent dude, so hopefully he can blow up and better represent hip hop than most of these walking minstel shows do now.
