Hip-Hop’s Greatest Movie…

Tuesday Apr 1 12:34 PM CDT posted by Billy Sunday

Before any one of you meatwads tells me that ‘Juice’ or ‘Boyz N The Hood’ are the greatest movies crafted by, and for the Hip-Hop generation, I want you to take a look at this documentary called ‘Stolen Moments’.

Peace to Eskay, Bol, Noz, Jay Smooth, Gooch and Black Ice

Personally, I think Scarface is the most hip-hop movie of all time. No rappers in it to fuck it up and my White Nigga Pacino did his thang.

so many samples, voice and music in rap songs, so many references to the movie in rap, so many rules and experiences to learn off streets or business part. Pacino played a true gansta and everyone wants to be him

did anyone actually WATCH this movie (it’s more of a short documentary though)? cause i did, and i really liked it. it does a good job explaining the connections between the global capitalist system, white supremacy and the original impetus for the creation of rap music and how its commodification and popularity has amplified issues inherent to that creation. WATCH IT! YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED

Billy X. Sunday says:

K,
This movie(yes documentary) flies over the brainpower of the majority of the readers here at this site for a number of reasons. The Black kids that comment at this site are pretty much da-dunn da-dunts, and the white are pretty much capitalist supremacy apologists.

Yeah, there are a few thinkers on both sides of the fence but most of the thinking Hip-Hop fans have migrated to HipHopDX.
