Good theory, but this is what really happened:

The local “hot” hip-hop group in Cincinatti, who alledgedly were in a verbal war with TI’s crew before they left, were challenged by TIP and his crew because of the fact that they are richer and more popular.

(Since Cincinatti is a shithole, no one even close to TI’s status ever goes there)

This leaves the local “hot” hip-hop crew to run thangs in that strip club or any other hotspot in the city.

So rather than himself partcipate in the war of words with the local crew, TI left the shit talking to his bag handlers. Keep in mind, this is normally NOT in the job description of a typical handler, but TI only rolls with the best.

At first, TI wanted to play by the rules and NOT disrespect the local crew by entering into and winning a Rain contest, being that he obviously has much more money.

However, the local crew kept making it rain, challenging TIP’s crew, and he gave in.

P-John was intimidated by the crew’s handlers; as he had never seen fellow handlers make it rain with such fury and intensity.

So, P-John asked TI for a 10 stack, and TI obliged.

But P-John had a plan of his own. Rather than make it rain 4 times from a 10 stack ($2500 a throw), as is the usual, P-John wound up and threw a Randy Johnson (nullus) style fastball with the 10 stack at the local crew’s top handler.

This is the point at which the war of words escalated, as throwing a 10 stack directly at a crew is taken as a direct threat.

We all know the rest of the story, local crews do not take well to out of town handlers throwning 10k at the city’s top handler.

^It doesn’t jibe particularly well with DJ Drama’s version of the events, but that’s one hell of a theory.
