arists like krs1 are significant i think because they thrived during a time where hip hop stood for something. it brought people together to fight the system and to save our youth and protect our communities. there is no question that everyone should support this movement, and then maybe finally white people, parents and the government can take a look in the mirror and stop blamin rap for everything.

Its cool that those artist have decided to join stop the violence movement, but its also sad that the two top artist(Lil Wayne, 50 Cent) are part of the reason the youth is somewhat corrupted. But, I hope others like kanye, Lupe, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Snoop, Nas, Little Brother, the game, and others join in. Even though its contradicting we need the main stream hardcore rappers because the children are gonna take it serious if its coming from them, but I better not hear jeezy coke rapping ass on this even though I like his music.

This cool and all but when are we all going to realize that it ain’t rappers making these cats go crazy.It’s how most of us are taught when moms is working two jobs trying to take care of us and ain’t nobidy us around but the streets. It’s sad to say but most of us don’t have that drive to make a difference within ourselves without the streets deterring it some kind of way. So as a whole stop putting this on rappers cuz Wayne and Fifty both gangsta rappers but do I think everything they say is true.
