A man was stabbed in the eye at Jay-Z’s upscale Manhattan sports bar, the 40/40 Club, on Saturday night (September 29). According to the New York Post, Christopher Harris, a 26-year-old off-duty corrections academy cadet, was attacked during an argument with a fellow patron. Neville Dangou, 30, was arrested and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. He was later released on $1,000 bail. Harris was rushed to nearby St. Vincent’s Hospital at around 1:30 a.m. and treated for lacerations to his face. According to the Post, doctors do not believe he is in danger of losing his sight.
