Mos Def this is one of the stupidest fucking ideas I have heard, where was the walk out when them four black college students got assissinated in NJ, there you had a group of brothers trying to better them selves unlike these knuckled headed ass fools in Jena. Black people especially are kids need to be in school trying to learn something instead of walking out of class because Mos Def say so. My kids will be in school Mr. Def, where they belong, trying to educate themselves. Yes there is racism in this case, but NO the charges should not necessarily be dismissed. The black students aren’t necessarily victims.

After looking over the facts, I see that both white students and black students assaulted each other. Therefore both should be charged with some form of assault. When the system JUST went after the black students THAT was racism, because it FAVORED the white students. There could be further racism involved if the black students charges were more severe than usual, as I heard an attempted murder charge was brought up and these students have spent the last year or so in prison. This could be the result of racism and should be looked into as it applies to the law, but as I see the facts right now, these students are still not victims. The white kids commited a crime. The black kids committed a crime. Both are guilty.

If a Chinese guy kills a black guy, and a white guy kills a Hispanic guy…. and the Chinese killer gets charged and NOT the white guy…. That is racism… because they favored the white person. BUT the Chinese guy is not a victim. He has still committed a crime. Both should be punished.
