Sean “Diddy” Combs Closes New York Restaurant

Wednesday Sep 26 1:47 PM CDT posted by xxl staff

diddy-12.jpgMusic and clothing mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has officially closed his New York restaurant Justin’s after 10 years in business. According to a statement from a Bad Boy representative to AOL’s Black Voices, Diddy is looking to expand and relocate the business to a different location in the city. “Bad Boy is seeking a larger footprint for the restaurant in the New York City area, as the size and location of the restaurant no longer fit the Justin’s brand,” the statement said. “The company sees the larger Justin’s Restaurant in Atlanta, which takes up most of a city block, as the prototype for the new New York City location. Bad Boy representatives are evaluating a number of options for a larger space in some of New York City’s prime traffic areas.” Combs launched Justin’s, which is named after his first son, in 1997.  In 1998, he followed up with the Atlanta location, which is still open for business at 2200 Peachtree Rd.

AND I THOUGHT JUSTIN’S WAS MID-UPPER CLASS SOUL FOOD FRANCHISE. NOT A MCDONALD W/ KID’S PLAYGROUND NEXT TO A PARKING LOT. INTERIOR MIGHT MATTER BUT THE SIZE DON’T MATTER WHEN IT COMES TO FOOD BUSINESS. ALL THOSE FAMOUS RESTAURANTS IN NYC ARE AS TINY AS KIM PORTER’S TITTIES. IMMA KEEP IT REAL LIKE PIMP C NOW.

Bullshit I’ve been to just two times this year once on a wensday and a friday and both day the clientelle was @ the bar watching the basketball game nobody was at the tables. And that’s two busy nights. They was even runing a promotion on power 105 where the dj was spinning on friday. That sound like a club not me not a resturant. So they need to stop fronting. Nyc is a hard place to be a successful resturant cause u have 3 on everyblock
