No Limit Records founder, Master P, has officially endorsed Illinois Senator, Barack Obama, and his bid to become the Democratic Presidential nominee in the 2008 election. “We always think we’re outnumbered, and our vote doesn’t matter, but truthfully that’s not the case,” says P. “If we get out there and support the people we believe in, we can make a difference now!” Master P will also speak at the 2007 Congressional Black Caucus Convention, which takes place in Washington, D.C. from September 26 to 29. During the convention, P, along with the NAACP, will push to help minorities understand their impact on democracy and empower them to vote. “Our communities need to support our positive role models and leaders,” the rap mogul says. “I challenge the studios, TV, internet sites and radio stations to promote our positive leaders and stop glorifying the negative.” In addition, Master P and his son, Romeo, will release a new album, Hip-Hop History, on September 4 through Romeo’s Take A Stand Records. The LP is being billed as hip-hop’s first profanity-free record. P will also release a book on the same day, Guaranteed Success, which guides readers along the path to financial and personal success.

It doesn’t matter to Barack how popular P is. What matters is P and rich associates will make donations to his campaign fund.
That’s all this is about.

Yo, don’t hate on P. P created the blueprint and sound for all these new southern artist. P was creating crunk music way before anybody heard of Lil’ Jon. No, he doesn’t sell records anymore but ya’ll know when No Limit was on top, you couldn’t get enough of ‘em. Now, P has grown up and is taking some steps to help his community be successful. Somebody needs to kick knowledge and show how to get that money, not just talk about spending it. Stay TRU!

FIRST THAT THE PROBLEM WITH GHETTO OR BLACK AMERICA IF HE AINT SELLING RECORDS LETS NOT LISTEN TO HIM, COME ON PEOPLE LETS CLEAR THIS UP FIRST HE MUST SELL ENOUGH BECAUSE HE CAN STILL GET DISTRUBTION DEALS, SECOND THIS MAN DID EVERYTHING THAT 90 PERCENT OF HIP HOP IS TRYING TO DO, THIRD ALL THE TALK ABOUT WE ARE BEING TREATED LIKE SLAVES AND NOONE LISTEN TO US, THIS IS THE REASON WHY WE TALKING HIM SELLING RECORDS AND HE TALKING ABOUT POSSIBLY THE FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT STILL THIS MAN IS MAKING A VOICE FOR US TO USE OUR VOICE INSTEAD OF TALING ABOUT HOW HE AINT SELLING RECORDS TALK ABOUT HOW HE IS OPENING HE MOUTH TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE SOMETHING MOST OF YOU HAVE LOST SIGHT ABOUT. GET YOUR MIND OUT OF RIMS AND DIAMONDS AND TRY THINKING ABOUT THE FUTURE AND NOT ABOUT RIGHT NOW

Hey, Master P may not be the most famous or recently bought rapper, but you have to give credit due where it’s due. This man, the same man who made the song “Ice Cream Man” is tryna change the image of hip-hop into becoming a politically aware movement (even though it already is) and the black mindset on voting and stating a political stance.
If you ask me, you can’t do anything but respect that. In the words of Master P, that’s Bowty-Bowty… HAHAHA
