Again your maturity and education levels are showing. If a white person looks at the actions of lil Romeo or any other single person and can draw conclusion about an entire race, then that means he’s operating on about the same level as you my son. Dude Lil Romeo is a not reflection of the entire black community. Just like Jeffery Dahmer is a reflection of the entire white community. However they are reflections of their fathers, mothers, friends, and immediate surroundings. Just like you words are a reflection of your intelligence.
You can call the man and his marketing plan gay all you want, but don’t forget to include words like business savvy and rich.

Everyone on here applauding Lil Romeo for his “business savvy” needs to step back and look at the big pictue…these “rap snacks” are basically a slap in the face to residents of every hood they’re sold in; a sterotypical, contrived product basically meant to capitalize o our collective ignorance.
These chips, and Lil’ Romeo’s involvment, are basically akin to an Asian person making “Ching Chong Rice” with a squinty-eyed Asian spokesman with exagerrated features on the package…when will we stop promoting this bullshit???? Gotta agree with Severe on this one…just because a brother is making money in an endeavor doesn’t make him “business savvy”…especially when he’s exploiting his own people to do so.

So you’re telling that Rap Snacks is the only company that uses sex to sell its product? Come on dude. I’m willing to bet you a mill that if this marketing campaign is wildly successful everyone of those snack companies will have a half naked man on it.

Here’s your homework assignment my son. Sit back and watch one channel for about 2 hours straight this evening. And I want you to count how many commercials use sex or sex appeal to sell its product Vs. commercial that don’t. Have you ever heard the term “sex sells”? I can guarantee a black person didn’t some up with that one.

i dissagree. rappers are calling themselves and are being treated like “gods” in our society. u dont think they have the power to influence a young man or woman? not saying hiphop is to blame for all societys problems, but if a rapper says “this is where im from, and what ive been through because of my circumstances. and even though i overcame, ive sacraficed alot and wish i wouldve stayed in school and took a better route” …u dont think at least 1 black male, or hundreds, who look up to him like he’s a “god” or “role model” would at least consider that droppin outta school to sell drugs and be like jeezy is a bad idea? or if rappers started using sexy, classy woman in their videos..at least one, if not hundreds, of woman would rather be known as the “classy lady from the jeezy video”, than being known as the hoe wit her boobs and ass out droppin it like its hot? u part of the problem son.

Well for one I watch videos for stock tips. You know I gotta figure out what poor people are gonna start spending their money on. (Man I bought 200 shares of Apple back when it was tradin at $55 per. Now I think its @ $138per)
But to answer the question no b/c if you’re weak minded or ignorant enought to listen to a song or a rapper and believe becoming a drug kingpin is the route to go. Then you’re not smart enogh to make anything out of yourself anyway. And if you see a kid with that mindset then you’re probably looking at a kid without good parenting or solid head on their shoulders.
If uplifting the “black community” is you focus, there are a lot more ways to do it other than tearing down rappers. 1st start by getting yourself together. If you don’t like how his chips are being sold then open your own company with picture of a black in a shirt and tie.

Look Al Sharpton and the rainbow coalition everything isn’t racist. And if it is so what. Is that “racist ad” taking money out of you pocket. No. Look you keep marching and singing “We Shall Over Come” while I continue to bet’em at their own game. And that’s getting this paper. Black people got it bad. So what just work harder.
