Andre 3000 and Big Boi Working on Solo LPs, OutKast Album Two Years Away
In an interview with MTV News, Andre 3000 says a new OutKast album will have to wait at least another two years until he and his partner, Big Boi, finish working on their upcoming solo albums. “Big Boi is working on a solo album right now,” Dre told MTV News. “I’m working on a solo album as well because of all the remix work that’s been coming out. After we do these solo albums, we’re planning on doing another OutKast album. I don’t know how long that’s gonna be; it could be two years.” In the meantime, ‘Kast fans can check out Andre’s new soundtrack to his Cartoon Network animated series, Class of 3000. The album features original songs written and performed by Mr. 3000 himself.
