Rapper Rick Ross won’t have to shell out any of his earnings to former drug ring leader “Freeway” Ricky Ross.

Earlier this week, a federal judge in Los Angeles rejected the $10 million lawsuit that had been filed in June by the real Ross, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Seeking compensation for trademark violations, unfair competition and misappropriation of his publicity rights, the suit was filed against the Miami rapper (real name William Roberts II), Jay-Z, Def Jam, Universal Music Group and others.

The judge ruled that the “Freeway” could not win on the trademark infringement claim or the grounds of unfair competition because he was unable to show valid trademark rights to his name.
