GOOD: The media is notoriously trying to get a rise out of whoever they interview simply for ratings. Although the practice of showing a video as the interviewee is being interviewed isn’t new, it’s wrong as shit! It seeks to bring emotions out of the person being interviewed (whether that be anger, sadness, or laughter) and it sets them up for close of camera shots of those emotions.

*If you ask me I think Kanye should have went off on Jay Leno when Leno obviously set him up with the infamous,
“What do you think your mom would say about your behavior?” remark. Jay Leno deserved a bitch slap for that one. Taylor Swift and Kanye’s recently deceased mother had no connection.

I don’t care about any of this; the only thing that matters to me for any artist is whether they make good music, or not, period. Your ears don’t lie. I meet them at their music because that’s all they have to offer me, unless I choose to want more from them, which is stupid.

Some of the greatest musicians the world has ever seen would never make it today because THEY WERE ASSHOLES IN REAL LIFE. We would pick them apart for that and they would likely implode before they ever made anything beautiful.
